35 years of late night, 1980–2015

David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc. is thrilled to be offering full access to 35 years of some of the most iconic moments in television history. From 1980’s “The David Letterman Show” to the finale episode of “Late Show with David Letterman,” WPI is opening its vaults to businesses interested in licensing content for film, video, new media, multi-media projects and more. This exclusive library features celebrity interviews over 4,250 episodes from the 1980s to 2014, classic Letterman segments like the Top Ten lists and Stupid Pet Tricks and iconic musical performances from the most popular bands of the last four decades. It is available exclusively through Worldwide Pants Inc, and also includes:

Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, from George Schlatter Productions, remains one of the most-referenced comedy formats in television history — rapid-fire sketch, cameo appearances by figures from politics and film, and a visual language that defined the late sixties. The collection supports clip licensing, documentary use and compilation programming.

Athletes before they were pros

Footage of athletes before they were professionals — high school and college play, early interviews and training footage of figures who went on to define their sports. Material of this kind is difficult to source elsewhere and is regularly requested for profile pieces, team retrospectives and broadcast features.

The Reba Merrill licensing site features the work of the Emmy award-winning journalist who has traveled the world interviewing nearly a thousand A-list celebrities and movie stars. Always in high demand, her insightful interviews have been syndicated in over 60 countries. While interviewing many of Hollywood’s top stars for more than three decades, Reba has made her name as an interviewer who draws out powerful and intimate moments from these very public celebrities.
